At the Heart of our Values

At the Cedar Dean Group, charity is one of the key values that we live by. In a world where challenges and suffering are ever present, there are so many in less fortunate circumstances than us, which is why we are proud as a Group to help wherever we can, and give at least 10% of our profits to charitable causes. Not only does this enable us to provide financial aid, it means we have to be more aware of our surroundings whilst developing attributes of compassion, understanding and purpose.

Whilst giving money is of course a worthy act, contributing time and expertise via a strong team is as important.

For this reason the Cedar Dean Group decided to nominate a 'Charity of the Year', where team members and clients can get involved with actively supporting a worthwhile charity. The Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity was chosen by way of a team vote.

Great Ormond Street Hospital was the first hospital dedicated to children in the English-speaking world and was established over 160 years ago. They have over 200,000 patient visits each year and are the largest paediatric centre in the UK for children’s heart problems, brain surgery, renal transplantation, intensive care, craniofacial reconstruction and gene therapy. The charity raises money to enable the hospital to provide world class care and to pioneer new treatments and cures for childhood illnesses. They need our support to help give hope to the young patients and their families.

We believe that children are our future and they need our help and support in their vulnerable years.

The Cedar Dean Group is looking forward to reporting many positive acts of kindness and charitable support throughout the year whilst working with The Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. Please don’t hesitate to contact our marketing team if you want to know more about some of the charitable events that we are working on.

Together we can certainly make a difference - as they say, a little bit of light removes a lot of darkness.
