Japanese Raman Restaurant Ippudo has secured their 4th premises in Fitzrovia via CDG Leisure. The advisory firm secured a 1,500 sq ft site at 40 Goodge Street formally Kua’aina, Hawaiian Burger Joint.
Ippudo will offer their classic menu with dishes such as Akamaru Modern and their famous Veggie Ramen. We will wait and see if they create a signature Ramen for this location as they have done for St Giles, Canary Wharf and Villiers Street.
Ippudo have plans to continue expanding should the right opportunities present themselves.
Satoshi Matsuoka, Director, Ippudo London Co Ltd: “We are very excited to be opening our next shop in Goodge Street. The area has a vibrancy very close to Ippudo's heart and we look forward to expressing our Japanese food culture here. Our ambition is to serve Ippudo's ramen, smile and "arigatou" to become a fresh part of this street's cool standard."
Sammy Weinbaum, CDG Leisure, who acted on behalf of Ippudo, said: “Strategically Fitzrovia has been on the target list for a while and we are glad that we were able to secure this premises on Ippudo’s behalf. The appetite for Raman in the UK is growing quickly and we have no doubt Fitzrovia will be as successful as their other units here in the UK."
